Chanoma
The chanoma served as a space for family gatherings and meals, functioning as a place for the household to come together. It can also be seen as a smaller living area that can be used as a sleeping space when needed.
The chanoma was once connected with the ima (living room) and used as a bedroom, but during restoration it was returned to its original layout.
2009 Spiritual Retreat Center
The ima and chanoma were opened up to serve as a bedroom, and the area that is now the tokonoma and oshiire was opened up for use as a bathroom.
2016 Old House Story Exhibition
Used as the exhibition space for the Old House Story Exhibition during the restoration preparation period.

2021 Restoration Project
After confirming the original structure, the space was divided into the ima and chanoma. The full-height door was restored to a window in accordance with the existing traces.
